As the top regular-season team in the Liberty League Championship Tournament, the No. 17/18 Ithaca College men’s lacrosse team had high expectations heading into the playoffs. After receiving a bye, the Bombers were upset by the Union College Chargers 10-4 in the semifinal round May 1 at Higgins Stadium.Â

The No. 20 Ithaca College men’s lacrosse team’s 14-9 win against the No. 19 Skidmore College Thoroughbreds on April 25 at Higgins Stadium officially locked the Bombers in as the top seed in the Liberty League playoffs. The senior day celebration game marked the end of the regular season, finishing off with a 11-5 overall record and a 5-1 conference record.Â
The Ithaca College softball team rolled to pitching-led victories in both legs of the doubleheader April 21 versus the SUNY Cortland Red Dragons. In game one, the Bombers grabbed an early 3-2 lead and held onto it for the rest of the contest. In game two, they survived a Red Dragons’ seventh inning rally to win 4-3.Â
With the sun in the sky and fans in the stands April 21, the Ithaca College men's and women's track teams hosted their first home meet in a decade on the newly built Egan Family Track and Field Complex. The Bombers welcomed Syracuse University, Cornell University, SUNY Cortland, SUNY Oswego, Keystone College and the Rochester Institute of Technology as they set some season highs both on the track and on throws. Â
The Bombers will return to the course April 25 when they travel to Schenectady, New York to compete in the Union Spring Invitational, followed by the Liberty League Championship on May 1 and May 2 at Teugega Country Club in Rome, New York.

The Ithaca College women’s lacrosse team overcame a four-point deficit to upset the No. 24 St. John Fisher Cardinals 15-11 on April 17 at Higgins Stadium to conclude their regular season at home. Forcing turnovers and embracing the ride game was crucial for the Bombers, giving them the edge in the second quarter.Â

The No. 22 Ithaca College men’s lacrosse suffered a grueling loss to non-conference rivals the SUNY Cortland Red Dragons on April 15 at Higgins Stadium. The Bombers could not keep up with the physicality of the Red Dragons, struggling to deliver the ball to the back of the net and win the one-on-one matchups.Â
The Ithaca College softball team stayed hot and went 3-1 in back-to-back doubleheaders April 11 and 12, with two wins over the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a split with Skidmore College. IC improved to 14-7 overall and now sits in second place in the Liberty League standings.
Coming off a tough 10-7 loss the previous day, the Ithaca College baseball team utilized premium pitching and power to take the three-game series over the Skidmore College Thoroughbreds with 5-3 and 8-4 victories April 11.Â

The No. 22 Ithaca College men’s lacrosse team secured another nail-biting victory 11-10 against the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Engineers for the first time since 2018 April 11 at Higgins Stadium. In the April 12 voting, the Bombers entered the national rankings, jumping 20 places from No. 42 previously.Â
