Registration on HomerConnect will be unavailable tomorrow until Monday, August 10. Students will still have access to HomerConnect for all other services including tuition payments and housing changes.
Registrar Brian Scholten said the system will be down to make sure that the college reserves enough space for registered courses.
“We are still making sure that some classes are in the right size classrooms,” Scholten said.
According to Scholten, this is a routine look of scheduling and has nothing to do with the incoming freshman class size, which is about 2,100. He said students should not worry about their course schedules changing in any way.
In an extreme situation where a student needs to make changes regarding registration, Scholten said they may call the Office of the Registrar at (607) 274-3127.
