An Ithaca College student appeared in the Town of Ithaca Court Wednesday for forgery of forms of identification, according to Laura Durling, assistant director of administrative services of the Office of Public Safety.
Durling said state police arrested sophomore Christopher Collier on March 11. She said the state police called Public Safety to notify them. Public Safety referred Collier judicially for criminal conduct, but not for the forgery because Public Safety was not involved in the arrest.
He is being charged with forgery in the third degree, according to Ithaca Town Court.
Collier was issued a lawyer and another court date will be arranged for the near future, Durling said.
