If you ever have a question, about anything at all, call the Information Desk at Ithaca College. They answer anything; from what time the dining halls open to how many rubber ducks could fill a bathtub.
Last Sunday, for some unknown reason, my friend and I woke up early and wanted to go eat. When we got to the dining hall we realized that it didn’t open until 10:30 a.m. We could have avoided walking there early if we had called the Info Desk.
The amount of times I have used it, though, is ridiculous. Once I called and asked where on campus I could get chocolate soymilk. And guess what, they told me. I usually call to get a phone number or see what’s open, but every once in a while I have a random question I know they’ll answer.
I don’t know the people who work there, and maybe the questions annoy them, but they always answer them. I would like to work there, but I would be tempted to answer the phone “Buddy the elf, what’s your favorite color?” And I might get fired for that.
