The gymnastics team recorded their lowest score of the season, 177.925, falling to Division I opponents Yale University and Rugters University on Sunday in New Haven, Conn.
Junior Jessica Bolduc placed fourth in the all-round with a score of 37.15 and was the Bombers’ top performer in three of the four events: vault, floor exercise, and uneven bars.
Freshman Jenna Van Dusen tied Bolduc on the floor scoring 9.625, good enough for eighth place, and was the team’s top performer on the balance beam placing 11th with a 9.1
The Blue and Gold had two other top-ten performances at the meet. Sophomore Chelsea Robie place seventh on bars with a 9.075 and junior Samantha Whiffen placed 10th on vault with a score of 9.075.
The Bombers return to action at 1 p.m. Saturday on East Hill with a five-team meet at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y.
