The men’s soccer team lost its second game of the Rowan Invitational Tournament on Saturday, falling to Rowan University 3-0. The loss concluded the first weekend of regular season play and the Bombers now have a 0–2 record to start the year.
Rowan University started the scoring in the sixth minute and maintained the lead for the remainder of the match. Rowan University would score twice more in the second half.
Sophomore goalkeeper Jack Van Adelsberg got his second start in a row and played for all 90 minutes, making six saves. The Blue and Gold could not get their offense going, as they were only able to muster eight shots, four of them on target.
Freshman back Chris Voehl and freshman forward Casey Williamson were named to the All-Tournament Team.
The team returns to action Friday in Oneonta for the Oneonta Mayor’s CupTournament.
