My apologies for the Drake lyrics posing as a post title (it just seemed so appropriate considering that I just posted on hair trends and now – you guessed it! – I’m writing about nail trends today…) Anyways, manicures have been getting pretty artsy – earlier this summer, I saw that a lot of magazines were touting the ring finger trend (where the ring finger is painted a different color and decorated…I could infer some socialization/feminist dialogue/Freudian meaning to the fact that it’s the ring finger. Or I could not.) However, I didn’t expect that it would be such a trend on campus – I’ve seen so many manicures with decorative ring fingers. It’s easy to do yourself, playful and chic. What do you think?
