The men’s tennis team was never able to get on track against the University of Rochester today, losing an 8-1 dual match to the YellowJackets. The loss puts the Bombers at 1—4 in dual matches this season.
Sophomore Griffin Reid earned Ithaca’s lone match victory by defeating Rochester senior Alex MaGill with a comeback win in third singles by a score of 3-6, 6-0 and 6-2.
The Blue and Gold begin Empire 8 action when they host play against Alfred University at 4 p.m. Tuesday on the Ithaca College Tennis Courts.
