Men’s Crew: Squad competes on waters of Lake Quinsigamond

The men’s crew competed on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass., against Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Trinity College, University of New Hampshire and Colby College yesterday.

The Blue and Gold’s highest finish of the day was a second-place showing in the third varsity race behind Trinity. The first varsity boat came in third place, finishing behind New Hampshire and Trinity. The South Hill squad finished last in the second varsity race at 7:10.29.

The Bombers return to the water at 8 a.m. Saturday when they travel to Pittsfield, Mass., to compete against Williams College and the Coast Guard Academy.

In recent years, the track and field and softball programs at Ithaca College have developed partnerships with Cornell University athletics. During the 2023–2024 academic year, both the track and field team and the softball team competed against Cornell.
