The Office of Public Safety reported a suspicious fire that occurred around 3:15 a.m. Saturday in Tallcott Hall.
An alert from Laura Durling, assistant director for administrative services for Public Safety, said the fire was ignited in the second floor TV lounge of Tallcott. After an investigation by the Ithaca Fire Department and the Office of Emergency Management, the departments concluded the fire was not accidental.
