MTV seems to be cutting back on its reality programming.
First, the network cancelled popular show “Jersey Shore” and now, “America’s Best Dance Crew” has been cancelled
The show ran for seven seasons and was produced by Randy Jackson, a music producer best known for his role as an “American Idol” judge.
Instead of Jackson, the dance competition was judged by Lil Mama, JC Chasez, Shane Sparks, Omarion and D-Trix throughout its run.
“ABDC” was a springboard for many dance crews around the country, most notably the Jabbawockeez crew from season one. Other notable crews include Quest Crew, Fanny Pak and Beat Freaks.
