Isabel Marant x H&M has just launched and you can bet that it’s going to be sartorial carnage when it hits stores. I was surprised when they announced the collaboration this past year – Isabel Marant has always been the go-to for “It” girls, off-duty models, and all around cool chicks (she’s also single-handedly responsible for the wedge sneaker craze of late); the brand has always maintained its cool girl patina, so it will be interesting to see what they have to offer to the masses. It’s not the first time that H&M has enlisted a fashion heavy weight – last year, they sold Margiela to great acclaim (although, let’s be honest, Kanye probably helped with the mainstream hype about that!) and their Lanvin collection is one for the books.
