The Ithaca women’s crew team took on Bates College, Williams College and the Coast Guard Academy yesterday at Lake Onota in Pittsfield, Mass.
The women’s first varsity 8 finished third, losing to Williams College and Bates College, respectively, with a time of 7:23.4 seconds. Williams College finished with a time of 7:14:3 seconds, while Bates College finished with a time of 7:23.0 seconds
Williams College defeated the women’s second varsity 8 with a time of 7:26.8 and Bates College had a time of 7:32.5. Ithaca finished in third with a time of 7:47.3 seconds.
The third women’s varsity 8 dropped their race to Williams College and Bates College with a time of 8:26.8 seconds. Williams College finished with a time of a 7:46.5 seconds and Bates College finished in 7:56.7 seconds.
The Bombers will look to bounce back at the New York State Championships on April 30 and May 1 at Whitney Point.
