The Farmer’s Market was so relaxing and fun! The produce was so fresh I just wanted to buy everything- an impossibility for a poor college student such as myself. tHowever, I did buy a cup of hot apple cider, a breakfast burrito, and 2 fruit filled scones. I was in heaven!In the summer and fall when more produce is in season I cannot even imagine how wonderful it will be.
Also, the local farmer’s were very friendly! They are always willing to chat and it is so clear who their “usuals” are. Early Morning Farms is also cool because they do a thing were if you pay a small amount per week (for example $7) than you get as many fresh vegetables you can take home. Its like having a share in their farm, but you get fresh produce for investing in them. Pretty sweet!
