It’s been ten years since British-born Glenda Bailey took the helm of Harper’s Bazaar magazine, a role that has belonged to some of the most iconic fashionistas of our time, including the irrepressible Diana Vreeland. Now, however, Bailey’s work is being celebrated as well at the International Center of Photography in NYC with an exhibit called “Harper’s Bazaar: A Decade of Style,” which showcases the artistic tradition that Bailey and the rest of the Harper’s Bazaar team have carried on. Normally, I would be pouty since I’d probably never get to the city before the exhibit closed (the closing date is in January 2012, by the way,) but I just so happen to be taking a day trip to NYC next week, and I am ecstatic because I will be seeing these pieces in person!
