The women’s soccer team traveled to SUNY-Farmingdale on Saturday to play their last game of their three game road trip.
The Bombers got on the board in the27th minute when senior back Andi Roach crossed a ball to junior midfielder Caroline Jastremeski, who scored the game’s first goal.
Though the Blue and Gold were outshot by the Rams 20-11, their defense kept strong for the majority of the game, which looked like it would be their sixth straight win. But with seven minutes left in the game, the Rams finally broke through and scored the equalizer in the 84th minute on a header off a throw-in.
Ultimately, the team did manage to salvage their unbeaten streak by keeping the Rams from scoring in extra time.
The South Hill squad is now 5-0-2 on the season and will return home to face Utica College at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
