The women’s indoor track team hosted the Ithaca Pentathlon today in Glazer Arena and claimed the top three spots in the event.
Senior Emma Dewart won the event with 3,578 points, while freshman Leigh Martino and senior Ashley Dulbac followed in second and third places with 2,921 points and 2,489 points respectively.
Dewart clocked a time of 8.98 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles, recorded a mark of 5.62 meters in the long jump, threw 9.47 meters in the shot put, cleared 1.64 meters in the high jump and crossed the finish line in the 800-meter dash in 2:33.40.
Martino finished the hurdles in 9.89 seconds, the long jump with a mark of 4.61 meters, the shot put with a heave of 7.75 meters, the high jump with a 1.52 meter clear and the 800 with a time of 2:29.03.
Dlubac ran the 60 hurdles in 10 seconds, had marks of 4.75 meters in the long jump, 8.75 meters in the shot put, 1.40 meters in the high jump and registered a time of 2:49.66 in the 800.
The Blue and Gold will travel to the boston University Valentine Classic and Cornell’s Kane Invitation on Febuary 11th.
