The women’s golf team finished tied for fourth place out of 11 squads at this weekend’s Vassar Invitational at the Dutchess Golf and Country Club in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. to open its spring slate of competition.
The Bombers tied host Vassar College with a total of 691 strokes during the course of the two-day meet. First place Amherst College finished with 663 strokes overall.
Freshman Sharon Li had a team-best score of 166, which was sixth best among all 62 competitors. Sophomore Kelsey Baker began the spring with a total of 173, shooting an 84 yesterday and an 89 today.
The Blue and Gold will compete at the Jack Leaman Invitational next weekend in Amherst, Mass.
