So some of you may have read this on Intercom (because that’s where I read it) but I know many of us just skim through it so I figured I would spread the word as well. Powershift, on April 15th-18th in Washington D.C., is a conference in which you can make your voice heard on issues such as “climate change, social justice, building the clean energy economy, public health, and shifting the power back to the people from the big corporations”. There will be over 10,000 peers from across the nation to participate in “rallies, lobbying, workshops, networking, concerts, keynote speakers, and more”.
This is going to be an amazing experience to connect with others who are concerned with the environment and try to implement change.
