Daft Punk isn’t the only French duo that can make the floor shake with some pounding synthesized beats. Justice has been taking over dance halls since their debut album dropped in 2007. In case you’re wondering, I can’t type the name of that album because it was simply a cross. Someday we’ll have that key on computers.
If you can do math, you may be able to determine that it’s been a while (the answer was 4 years) since that album came out. But Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay have returned with their new LP, “Audio, Video, Disco.”
Their first single, “Canon,” is quite the tune. The irresistible bass line and blaring synthesizers seem as though they’re designed to help release the listener’s inner maniac. Get down and dirty when you witness Justice at their best.
