Multicultural film festival to explore Israeli customs

Hillel at Ithaca College, the Jewish Studies Program, the Roy H. Park School of Communications and the Center for Academic Excellence will put on the Israel Film Festival March 1–2. The festival will feature three Israeli films: "The Flood," "The Ballad for Weeping Spring" and "Garden of Eden."
Seniors Eric Flyte, Shelley Attadgie and junior Rachel Ozols play King Ouf, Laoula and Lazuli, respectively, in the Main Stage Theater production of "L'etoile." In the opera, Laoula and Lazuli are lovers.

Quirky French operetta hits Main Stage Theater

The Ithaca College Main Stage Theater production of "L'etoile" comically explores the topics of love and faith.

Ithaca Hummus Company, owned and run by Chris Kirby, has been gaining popularity in Ithaca.
Eleanor Henderson, assistant professor of writing, signs first-edition copies of her book “Ten Thousand Saints” in June of 2011 at the Harvard Book Store’s Signed First Edition Club. Henderson’s book is currently being turned into a film.
