Volleyball shuts out Hartwick amidst personal milestone

The Ithaca College volleyball team earned its fifth shutout of the season in a win against the Hartwick College Hawks on Oct. 7 in Ben Light Gymnasium, adding to a winning streak of eight games. Junior setter Wesley Slavin also recorded a milestone achievement of 2000 assists during the match.

Missed chances leave men’s soccer tied up against Vassar

The Ithaca College men’s soccer team settled for a 1-1 draw against the Vassar College Brewers on Sept. 27 at Carp Wood Field. Although both of the game’s goals were scored in the first half, a second half filled with scoring chances on both sides of the field left the Bombers feeling they deserved a win over the reigning Liberty League Champions.

Football takes revenge game in nail-biting fashion

The Ithaca College football team continued its hot hand with a 13-7 nail-biter of a win over the Hobart College Statesmen on Sept. 27 at Butterfield Stadium.

Men’s soccer sneaks away with victory in back and forth contest

The No. 21 Ithaca College men’s soccer team secured the win over the Moravian University Greyhounds Sept. 20 with a final score of 1-0. Despite the high amount of scoring opportunities for each side, the only goal of the end-to-end game came via a Moravian defender scoring on his own net. The Bombers collected their sixth clean sheet of the year and are currently on pace to break the school’s single-season shutout record of 12, which was set in 2005.

Men’s soccer fights to draw with SUNY Cortland

The No. 21 Ithaca College men’s soccer team travelled to face off against the No. 9 SUNY Cortland Red Dragons on Sept. 17 in a match that ended in a dramatically tense 0-0 draw. The energetic match put an end to a four-season period where the Bombers were unable to evade defeat from their rivals, going back to the 2019 season. The game was the Bombers' only matchup against a ranked team for the remainder of regular season play.

Field Hockey blanks SUNY Brockport in dominant victory

The Ithaca College field hockey team destroyed the SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles in a 9-0 shutout Sept. 17. The Bombers’ substitutes made vital contributions, scoring six of the nine total goals.

Men’s soccer keep streak alive with 1-0 fight against King’s College

The Ithaca College men’s soccer team edged out the King’s College Monarchs Sept. 13 in a heated 1-0 contest. The matchup saw five yellow cards and plenty of physicality from start to finish. The Bombers have now won five consecutive games to open their season, a feat that has not been achieved by the program since 2007.

The Ithaca College field hockey team played its rival, the Cortland Red Dragons Sept. 10. The Bombers hosted the Red Dragons, but ended up falling short 1-0. IC's record fell to 3-2 ahead of the Sept. 13 contest against the No. 17 SUNY Geneseo Knights.

Men’s soccer nabs win with last-minute goal

The Ithaca College men’s soccer team extended its win streak to three games on Sept. 6 in a scrappy 1-0 victory versus the SUNY Geneseo Knights. First-year midfielder Ryan Levy secured the win for the Bombers, scoring the game’s only goal with just three minutes of play remaining. The win closed out a three-game homestand for the team, making their record 3-0-0.

Football sees slow start to season

The Ithaca College football team could not muster a revenge game as the No. 3 Johns Hopkins University Blue Jays defeated the Bombers for the third straight season, with a final score of 42-14 on Sept. 6 at Butterfield Stadium.

Men’s soccer takes season by storm with consecutive shutouts

The Ithaca College men’s soccer team captured its second consecutive win of the season Sept. 3, improving its record on the season to 2-0-0. The South Hill crowd was treated to three goals, two of them coming from the penalty spot. IC’s 3-0 win over the Elmira College Soaring Eagles marked another clean sheet for the young squad, a team with Liberty League Championship title aspirations.
The Ithaca College baseball team fell to the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Engineers in the final game of the Liberty League Championship Tournament on May 11 at Booth Field. The Bombers will continue their fight for the title next season.

Liberty League leaves baseball and softball on roller coaster of emotions

The Ithaca College baseball team ended the 2025 season with a heartbreaking loss to the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Engineers on May 11 at Booth Field. After a 16-6 loss May 10, the Bombers fought to protect their Liberty League Championship Tournament title, but they were unable to find their groove and fell 4-1.
