The Ithaca College softball team experienced a handful of ups and downs April 8 in a doubleheader against the Nazareth University Golden Flyers. After a crushing 14-10 loss in game one, the Bombers rallied to steal the win 6-5 in game two. With the split, the Bombers moved to 11-6 on the season while the Golden Flyers moved to 10-8.Â

The unranked Ithaca College men’s lacrosse team showed out in primetime to defeat the No.6 nationally ranked Rochester Institute of Technology Tigers 9-8 at Higgins Stadium. The Bombers’ defense pumped the brakes on the Liberty League’s top offense to grab the first victory against the Tigers since 2016 and the second in 16 years.Â
The Ithaca College women’s lacrosse team secured its fourth and fifth Liberty League victories of the season April 3 and 4, defeating the Bard College Raptors 22-1 and Vassar College Brewers 18-6 at Higgins Stadium. After a season defined by narrow margins and overtime thrillers, the Bombers utilized dominant first-half offensive explosions to put the games out of reach early and provide reprieve for a squad accustomed to playing until the final whistle.
The Ithaca College baseball team was swept at the hands of the Rochester Institute of Technology Tigers in a three-game series April 3-4, played in Rochester, New York and Auburn, New York. After a 13-3 blowout loss in game one, IC dropped a 12-11 thriller in game two, followed by a 10-8 loss in game three.
The Ithaca College baseball team grabbed two wins over the Clarkson University Golden Knights in a three-game series March 29 and 30. After scoring one run in the first game, the Bombers responded with 31 total runs over the next two games.

The Ithaca College men’s lacrosse team upset the No. 15 St. Lawrence University Saints 14-5 March 28 at Higgins Stadium, ending a seven-year losing streak to the Liberty League rivals. The Bombers’ defense denied the Saints any fighting chance in the second half, allowing just a single goal.

After fighting into double overtime, the No. 23 Ithaca College women’s lacrosse fell 15-14 to the University of Scranton Royals on March 7 at Higgins Stadium. The Bombers held a steady lead from the middle of the first quarter into the fourth quarter, but could not hang on to the No. 17 Division III team. The team’s first home game of 2026 also marked its first loss of the season.

The Ithaca College men’s lacrosse team opened up its home season with a down to the wire 9-8 win against the Nazareth University Golden Flyers on March 4 at Higgins Stadium, bumping their record to 2-2. The Bombers’ productive third quarter was essential, producing five out of the nine goals and allowing just one.Â
The Athletics and Events Center buzzed with excitement Feb. 27 and 28 as Ithaca College’s men’s wrestling team had five wrestlers punch their tickets to the Division III NCAA National Championship and had a runner-up finish as a team.
The Ithaca College men’s basketball team saw its season come to an end Feb. 24 at the hands of the St. Lawrence University Saints, 72-64. In the first round of the Liberty League Championships, St. Lawrence’s 2-3 zone defense overwhelmed the Bombers, who never led in the game.
The Ithaca College women's basketball team won the first game of the weekend Feb. 20 before losing on senior day in the final game of the season Feb. 21. The Bombers could not recreate their offensive success on day two of the back-to-back.Â
