The Ithaca College men’s basketball team clinched a spot in the Liberty League playoffs Feb. 20 and will travel Feb. 24 to play the fourth seed St. Lawrence University, despite losing to the Skidmore College Thoroughbreds 91-83 the same evening. The team followed up its loss and clinched with a momentous 76-73 victory over the Vassar College Brewers on Feb. 21.

The Ithaca College gymnastics team traveled to SUNY Cortland to compete in the Empire State Collegiate Championship on Feb. 14. The Bombers placed No. 5 out of six teams, behind Long Island University, Cornell University, SUNY Brockport, Cortland and ahead of Utica University.Â
On Feb. 13, Beneath the bright lights of the Ben Light Gymnasium, the No. 22 Ithaca College men’s wrestling team punctuated its home schedule with a 29-9 dual meet performance against the Wilkes University Colonels that honored its past while solidifying its postseason future.

Despite falling to the SUNY Cortland Red Dragons 192.800-191.350, Ithaca College gymnastics finished its last home meet of the 2026 season by making history, breaking the all-time IC gymnastics program team score in floor exercise, a 48.950, Feb. 11 in the Ben Light Gymnasium. The Bombers also posted their highest score of the season by 1.4 points.

The Ithaca College gymnastics team lost on senior day by the largest margin all season to the SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles and SUNY Cortland Red Dragons at the annual Harriett Marranca Invitational in Ben Light Gymnasium Feb. 8.Â
The Ithaca College women's basketball team fell to 7-14 after losses to two separate Liberty League opponents Feb. 6 and Feb. 7. A close loss Friday night led to a tired Bombers squad stumbling defensively on Saturday.Â
The Ithaca College men’s basketball team failed to capture the win on senior day after squeezing out a close victory in a pair of home Liberty League matchups Feb. 6 and Feb. 7. With four regular season games remaining, the Bombers sit in fifth place in the Liberty League, good enough for a playoff spot, but not enough to host a playoff game.
After a grueling home stretch against some of the top programs in the country, the No. 23 Ithaca College men’s wrestling team walked away with a mix of results that underscored both their resilience and the technical work still ahead.Â

Ithaca College gymnastics placed first in a tri-meet against the Rhode Island College Anchormen and the Springfield College Pride on Feb. 1 in the Ben Light Gymnasium. The Bombers emerged on top with 189.575, the Anchormen settled in second at 187.900 and the Pride fell to the bottom of the podium with 186.800.Â

The Ithaca College gymnastics team opened its season at home against the Ursinus College Bears in a dual matchup 189.950-188.475 Jan. 18 in the Ben Light Gymnasium. The Bombers had their strongest performance on floor exercise, totaling an impressive score of 48.700 and averaging 9.740.Â

The Ithaca College men’s basketball team is now 5-10 and 4-4 in the Liberty League after a series of weekend conference matchups against the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Engineers and the Bard College Raptors on Jan. 16 and 17 at the Ben Light Gymnasium.Â
Ithaca College women’s basketball is now 7-8 after wrapping up a five game home stand with a pair of Liberty League games Jan. 16 and 17. After a tough loss against a good opponent on Friday night, the Bombers bounced back with a blowout win Saturday afternoon.
