People over the age of 18 are eligible to vote in the Nov. 4 election if they register online at Elections.NY.Gov/Register-Vote before Oct. 25. Those who are registered to vote in Tompkins County can visit a local poll for their respective legislative district on Election Day which can be identified at VoterLookup.Elections.NY.gov/. Ithaca College students registered to vote with their college address can vote at Longview Senior Living.
Early voting is available from Oct. 25 through Nov. 2 at the Town of Ithaca Town Hall and the Crash Fire Rescue building. Voting is available at those locations from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day except Oct. 28 and Oct. 30 when it is open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.Â
Anyone who wants to vote in their hometown election with their home address can apply for an absentee ballot before Oct. 25 and mail it in with time to be postmarked before Nov. 4.
