Burglaries reported over break

After alerting the campus community Monday of two reported burglaries that occurred over break, the Ithaca College Office of Public Safety announced five new reported cases of burglary.

According to the reports, an unknown person or persons entered rooms in multiple dormitories — Clarke Hall, East Tower, Hilliard Hall, Hood Hall and Landon Hall — between Dec. 19 and Jan. 21. The two original cases and four of the new ones involved theft of textbooks, and one was theft of an iPad. There were no signs of forced entry in the first two reports.

Public Safety reminds students and other members of the campus community to always lock their room or apartment’s doors and windows, and to report suspicious activity to Public Safety.
