College reopens after shutdown

After yesterday’s closing due to severe weather, Ithaca College is “currently open and operating normally,” according to the Ithaca College emergency closing hotline.

Classes will resume their normal schedule. All dining halls and Ithaca College services should be open.

Tompkins County sheriff Peter Meskill lifted the travel advisory as of 7 a.m. this morning, but visibility may still be a problem on roads due to the drifting snow and high winds. All roads in the county have been cleared, according to the sheriff’s department.
