Diane Gayeski has been named dean of the Roy H. Park School of Communications, Ithaca College announced this morning.
Gayeski, who served as interim dean of the school for the past academic year, will begin immediately serving as dean, she said.
“I’m very honored and I feel quite overwhelmed by this,” she said this morning in her office after passing out celebratory sparkling grape juice to her office staff. “It’s especially touching to be an alum and to be in this position because I so fondly remember my days as a student, and my goal is to make sure every student now and in the future has the same incredible experience.”
