IC Progress wins SGA election

IC Progress, led by student body president-elect Rob Flaherty, has won the Student Government Association executive board election, defeating the “Be Heard” ticket.

Rob Flaherty will serve as the SGA’s next president.

Flaherty, the current vice president of communications for SGA, will replace senior Scott Nachlis. The rest of his executive board includes Isuru Somasinghe, vice president of academics; Robert Hohn, vice president of business and finance; Ayesha Patel, vice president of campus affairs; Courtney Brown, vice president of communications; and Justin Pyron, vice president of Senate affairs.

In other election news, Senior Royale, led by President Rachel Heiss, won the uncontested senior class executive board election.

SGA voting occurred between Monday and Wednesday on IC Link.
