Ithaca College SGA releases senatorial election results

The Ithaca College Student Government Association released the results of the senatorial elections at noon Sept. 26 on the SGA Facebook page. The results are as follows:

Class of 2018 Senators: Marieme Foote and Angela Pradhan

Class of 2016 Senator: Jacob Greenberg

Senators-at-Large: sophomore Madeline Haftel and senior Meredith Knowles

School of Humanities and Sciences Senator: senior Paul Thomasset

School of Music Senator: senior Namarah McCall

School of Business Senator: sophomore Zamar Malik

Junior Kyle James, vice president of communications for SGA, said 470 ballots were cast by the student body, which consists of 6,587 students according to the Office of Institutional Research.

He said there were no ties in voting, and the only contested race was that of Senator-at-Large, for which anyone could vote.
