A portion of Aurora Street near the college will be closed for construction Feb. 6 and 7.

A section of Aurora Street/Danby Road near Ithaca College will be closed Feb. 6–7 while the City of Ithaca installs a new water service line.

The construction began 7:30 this morning and will continue until 3:30 p.m. Feb. 7. The intersection with Coddington Road to the intersection with Hudson Street is closed to through traffic during this time.

Vehicles traveling up the hill toward the college are being detoured to Hudson Street, and traffic headed down the hill should take Coddington Road and connect with Hudson Street.

The college worked with Rankin Climate, a company that assesses institutional climate and specifically works with the college’s working committee, to compile the results of the survey.  The survey was made up of 117 questions, 16 of which were open-ended. Questions from the 2016 Campus Climate Survey were used as a basis and reviewed again by the college.
