The Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management is investigating a report of a motor vehicle that was taken from J-Lot and later found abandoned in a motor vehicle accident in Newfield.
On Friday morning, students, faculty and staff were sent a Public Safety Alert notifying them about the incident.
The PSA reported that the motor vehicle, described as a blue 2007 Saturn, was stolen between 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 31. The victim reported an unknown person stole keys while the victim was at the Whalen Center.
