Public Safety is investigating a burglary in Clarke Hall

The Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management is investigating a report of a burglary at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Clarke Hall.

The caller reported that an unknown person had entered the room, gone through drawers and subsequently fled the area. The room was occupied at the time and there was no sign of forced entry, according to the PSA.

Officers identified and apprehended the person believed to be responsible, and the investigation is still ongoing at this time.

A Public Safety Alert was sent to students, faculty and staff Wednesday afternoon informing the Ithaca College community about the incident.

Public Safety reminds the campus community to report suspicious activity. Anyone with information should contact Public Safety at 274-3333 or report anonymously at 274-1060.
