SUMMARY: Caller reported cutting a hand on a broken thermometer. Person transported to the health center. Patrol Officer Jay Vanvolkinburg.

SUMMARY: Complainant reported an unknown person damaged a vehicle window. Investigation pending. Sergeant Terry O’Pray.

SUMMARY: Caller reported Nov. 4 that a person had sexual contact with another person without her consent. Investigation pending. Master Patrol Officer Chris Teribury.

SUMMARY: Caller reported taking an additional dose of medication and now has an elevated heart rate. Person declined medical assistance from ambulance staff. Master Patrol Officer Mark Denicola.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a two-car MVA. Master Patrol Officer James Landon.

SUMMARY: Officer reported the person involved in the unlawful possession of marijuana case in the Terraces on Oct. 26 is being judicially referred for dishonesty. Patrol Officer Daniel Austic.

SUMMARY: Officer reported the original incident of a suspicious circumstance Oct. 12 was reclassified as harassment. Officer reported person responsible for providing false information was judicially referred. Patrol Officer Daniel Austic.

LOCATION: College Circle Apartments

SUMMARY: Caller reported an intoxicated person at a gathering with alcohol. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the intoxicated person. One person was judicially referred for underage possession of alcohol. Master Patrol Officer Donald Lyke.

 

 

NOVEMBER 10

EXCESSIVE NOISE

LOCATION: College Circle Apartments

SUMMARY: Caller reported a noise complaint. Three people will be judicially referred for noise. Master Patrol Officer brad bates.

 

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED

LOCATION: Lyceum Drive

SUMMARY: During a traffic stop, officer reported the vehicle was unable to maintain a lane and drove up on the curb. Driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Officer issued uniform traffic tickets for Ithaca Town Court for driving while intoxicated, driving with BAC above .08 percent, failure to maintain lane and having an open container of alcohol inside the vehicle. This person was also restricted from campus. Patrol Officer Matthew O’Loughlin.

 

UNDERAGE POSS. ALCHOL

LOCATION: College Circle Apartments

SUMMARY: Two people were judicially referred for underage possession of alcohol and noise. Master Patrol Officer Donald Lyke.

 

DRUG VIOLATIONS

LOCATION: Emerson Hall

SUMMARY: Two people were judicially referred for violation of college regulations and the drug policy. Master Patrol Officer Mark Denicola.

SUMMARY: Two people were judicially referred for criminal possession of marijuana and for responsibility of guests. Master Patrol Officer Mark Denicola.

SUMMARY: Caller reported concern for a person receiving messages that another person was suicidal. Caller referred to the Tompkins county office. Master Security Officer Amy Chilson.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person struck their head on a shelf and sustained a head laceration. Person declined assistance from ambulance staff.  Master Patrol Officer Bruce Holmstock.

SUMMARY: Caller reported an unknown person stole a backpack. Investigation pending. Patrol Officer Matthew O’Loughlin.

LOCATION: West Tower

SUMMARY: Two people were judicially referred for underage possession of alcohol and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Patrol Officer Matthew O’Loughlin.

 

IRRESPONSIBLE USE OF ALCOHOL

LOCATION: Grant Egbert Blvd.

SUMMARY: Officer reported an intoxicated person on the ground. Person transported to CMC by ambulance and judicially referred for irresponsible use of alcohol. Sergeant Terry O’Pray.

SUMMARY: One person judicially referred for drug policy violation and responsibility of guest. Sergeant Terry O’Pray.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person damaged a door. one person judicially referred for responsibility of guest. Patrol Officer Matthew O’Loughlin.

 

IRRESPONSIBLE USE OF ALCOHOL

LOCATION: Eastman Hall

SUMMARY: One person transported to CMC by ambulance and another person was judicially referred for responsibility of guest. Patrol Officer Matthew O’Loughlin.

 

NOVEMBER 11

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED

LOCATION: J-Lot

SUMMARY: During a traffic stop, officer reported the driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Officer issued uniform traffic tickets for Ithaca Town Court for driving while intoxicated, driving with BAC above .08 percent, and having an inadequate plate lamp. Officer also issued a campus summons for failure to stop at a stop sign and this person was judicially referred. Master Patrol Officer brad bates.

 

IRRESPONSIBLE USE OF ALCOHOL

LOCATION: Rowland Hall

SUMMARY: Person declined medical assistance with ambulance staff and was judicially referred for irresponsible use of alcohol. Patrol Officer Robert Jones.

SUMMARY: One person judicially referred for irresponsible use of alcohol. Master Security Officer George Whitmore.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a subject with suicidal thoughts. Officer took the person into custody under the mental hygiene law and the person was transported to CMC by ambulance. Sergeant Dirk Hightchew.

SUMMARY: Three people judicially referred for violation of the college drug policy. Patrol Officer Matthew O’Loughlin.

SUMMARY: Caller reported an unknown person removed a stop sign from the ground. Investigation pending. Patrol Officer Robert Jones.

 

ASSAULT

LOCATION: Emerson Hall

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person entered a room, punched the victim in the face, and then fled the scene. Victim transported to CMC by ambulance. Officer arrested the person for burglary in the first degree and assault in the third degree. Person was immediately arraigned in the Ithaca Town Court and posted bail. This person was also judicially referred. Master Patrol Officer Brad Bates.

SUMMARY: Simplex reported a fire alarm. Alarm caused by burnt food. System reset. Sergeant Dirk Hightchew.

 

WELFARE CHECK

LOCATION: Holmes Hall

SUMMARY: Caller reported a verbal argument had occurred earlier in the evening and requested assistance locating a person. During the investigation, officer reported the person had also sent a text message threatening harm to self the day before. At this time, life threatening element not immanent. Master Patrol Officer Mark Denicola.

LOCATION: Dillingham center

SUMMARY: A wallet was found and turned over to the office of public safety. Unknown owner.

 

MEDICAL ASSIST

LOCATION: Tallcott Hall

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person having a seizure who may have a head injury. Officer reported the person did not injure their head and was transported to CMC by ambulance. Sergeant Ron Hart.

LOCATION: O-Lot

SUMMARY: Caller reported a two-car MVA. Report taken. Sergeant Ron Hart.

 

LARCENY

LOCATION: Visitor Lot

SUMMARY: Caller reported an unknown person stole an I-pad from a vehicle. Investigation pending. Sergeant Ron Hart.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person felt threatened by another.  Investigation pending. Communications Specialist Brad Fisher.

LOCATION: College Circle Apartments

SUMMARY: During a fire alarm, officer reported the activation was caused by marijuana smoke. Four persons were judicially referred for unlawful possession of marijuana. Patrol Officer Bruce Thomas.

SUMMARY: Simplex reported a fire alarm. Activation caused by marijuana smoke. System reset.  Master Patrol Officer James Landon.
