Location: J-Lot

Summary: Caller reported people smoking marijuana. Eight people judicially referred for unlawful possession of marijuana. Patrol Officer Steve Ward.

Criminal possession other drug seventh degree

Location: East Tower

Summary: During follow up investigation, officer reported a room was search and a controlled substance was found. Officer issued one person an appearance ticket for Ithaca Town Court for criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. This person was also judicially referred. Master Patrol Officer Dan Austic.

 

Sept. 29

Petit Larceny between $50-$199

Location: Emerson Hall

Summary: Caller reported unknown person damaged exit sign. Officer located sign and reported faceplate was stolen. Investigation pending. Master Patrol Officer Dan Austic.

Safety and Environmental Hazard

Location: U-Lot

Summary: Caller reported unknown vehicle leaked oil and it is going into the storm drain due to the current weather conditions. Officer reported very minor amount on pavement and pads were used to clean up the area and no oil made it to the storm drain. Fire and Building Safety Coordinator Charlie Sherman.

Summary: Complainant reported person trying to buy parking permit under another person’s name. Investigation pending. Master Patrol Officer Steve Rounds.

Summary: Caller reported third hand information regarding a person who sent text messages that they wanted to harm themselves. Officer advised complainant to call the Ithaca Police Department. Master Patrol Officer Steve Rounds.

Summary: Caller reported person threatening to harm themselves. Officer determine person had self inflicted injuries. One person taken into custody under mental hygiene law, transported to hospital and judicially referred for danger to self. Master Patrol Officer Steve Rounds.
