SUMMARY: Person reported unknown person stole clothing. English responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported unknown person stole post. Jones responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported people engaged in a verbal dispute. Officer issued two people a warning. Lyke responded.

LOCATION: 126 Grant Egbert Blvd. 

SUMMARY: Caller reported people arguing and fighting. One person was transported to the hospital by ambulance for an injury to their shoulder and wrist. Lyke responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person was acting anxious but the person indicated that they did not need any assistance. Jones responded.

LOCATION: 300-400 Even Grant Egbert Blvd. 

SUMMARY: Caller reported unknown people fired airsoft rounds from pellet guns at them and then left in a vehicle. Incident occurred at 10:30 p.m. Hall responded.

 

February 22

 

Change in the case status

LOCATION: Cornell University/other

SUMMARY: Cornell University police reported stopping a vehicle in which the occupants had airsoft pellet guns. Ithaca College officers interviewed and determined that these four people had fired airsoft rounds at the person in S Lot. Officer restricted these four people from the college campus. Hall and Verzosa responded.

Fire alarm undetermined cause for alarm

LOCATION: 131 Textor Circle

SUMMARY: Simplex reported fire alarm. EHS and officers were unable to determine the cause of the activation. Sherman reported.

 

Accidental property damage

LOCATION: 123 Farm Pond Road

SUMMARY: Caller reported an animal causing damage to the inside of a building. Building was closed off until the animal can be trapped and removed by grounds staff. Colon responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported falling on the ice and injuring their knee. Colon responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported equipment placed outside of building accidentally damaged while clearing snow. Colon responded.

SUMMARY: Simplex reported fire alarm. Officer reported alarm activation caused by burnt food. Dimkos responded.

SUMMARY: Simplex reported fire alarm. Officer reported an alarm activation caused by a person using a fire extinguisher to extinguish fire in the kitchen. Dimkos responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a vehicle struck their vehicle and left the area. Officer reported no motor vehicle accident occurred. Person opened the door into the caller’s vehicle. Upon visual inspection no damage occurred. Elmore responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person made alarming statements to them at an off campus location. Person was advised to report the incident to the IPD. Elmore responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a group of people harassing and verbally threatening the caller. Caller reported the incident occurred at 1:45 a.m. Elmore responded.
