summary: Simplex reported a fire alarm. Alarm activation was caused by burnt food. Master Security Officer Pat English responded.

SUMMARY: A caller reported having trouble breathing. An officer reported the person was possibly having an allergic reaction to prescribed medication. The person was transported by ambulance to the hospital. Sergeant Jon Elmore responded.

SUMMARY: A caller reported a two-car, property damage motor vehicle accident. Patrol Officer Steven Hutchison responded.

SUMMARY: A caller reported an unknown person stole food. Patrol Officer Steven Hutchison responded. This is a pending investigation.

SUMMARY: A caller reported a haze and a burning smell. The cause was determined to be an oil leak from an air compressor. Enoch Perkins, fire protection specialist in the Office of Environmental Health and Safety, responded.

SUMMARY: Simplex reported a fire alarm. The activation was caused by a person cooking. Enoch Perkins, fire protection specialist in the Office of Environmental Health and Safety, responded.

SUMMARY: A caller reported a two-car, property damage motor vehicle accident. Patrol Officer Thaddeus May responded.

SUMMARY: Tompkins County Mobile Crisis Unit reported working with a person having suicidal thoughts. The crisis unit determined person was not an imminent danger to themselves. Sergeant Bryan Verzosa responded.

SUMMARY: A caller reported that a person sent a text message that they were struck by another and now the caller is unable to make contact with them. The sender of the text reported that they were not struck by another. Sergeant Jon Elmore responded.

SUMMARY: A caller reported a person intentionally consumed prescription medication in an attempt to self harm.  An officer reported the person was taken into custody under New York State Mental Hygiene Law and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Patrol Officer Mayra Colon responded.

SUMMARY: A caller reported an intoxicated person. The person was taken into custody under the Mental Hygiene Law and transported to the hospital by ambulance. An officer referred the person for irresponsible use of alcohol.  Patrol Officer Kevin Noterfonzo responded.

SUMMARY: Simplex reported a carbon monoxide alarm activation. Alarm activation was caused by a faulty detector. Patrol Officer Kevin Noterfonzo responded.

SUMMARY: A caller reported a person vomiting in the bathroom. An officer reported one person was referred for irresponsible use of alcohol and acts of dishonesty. Sergeant Bryan Verzosa responded.

SUMMARY: Simplex reported a fire alarm. Alarm activation was caused by a broken sprinkler head. Patrol Officer Kevin Noterfonzo responded.

SUMMARY: A caller reported a damaged fire sprinkler head caused water damage to several rooms. Patrol Officer Abdullah Hassan responded.

SUMMARY: A caller reported an unknown person damaged a vehicle tire. Patrol Officer Steven Hutchison responded. This is pending investigation.

SUMMARY: Simplex reported a fire alarm. An officer reported the alarm accidental was because of water from a plumbing problem. Patrol Officer Steven Hutchison responded.
