SUMMARY: Caller reported a group was harassing them through social media. Sergeant Don Lyke responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported an unknown person stole an exit sign. Sergeant Don Lyke responded.

SUMMARY: Caller requested a welfare check for a person who is crying, and very upset. Officer reported the person was taken into custody under New York state’s Mental Hygiene law and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Sergeant Don Lyke responded.

SUMMARY: Simplex reported a fire alarm. The officer reported alarm activation caused by steam from the shower. Enoch Perkins, fire protection specialist in the Office of Environmental Health and Safety responded.

SUMMARY: Tompkins County reported receiving a call about a person in the nature trails screaming. Officers located the person and the person was taken into custody under New York state’s Mental Hygiene law and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
