Criminal mischief fourth degree 

LOCATION: Dillingham Center 117 Alumni Circle 

SUMMARY: The Office of Facilities reported wires and light fixtures hanging from the ceiling.  Officer reported that maintenance is working on the light and there was no damage in the area. Sergeant Jon Elmore responded.

 

Petit larceny under $50

LOCATION: Circle Lot 11 College Circle 

SUMMARY: Caller reported an unknown person stole the license plate from their vehicle. Patrol Officer Kevin McClain responded.

LOCATION: Farm Pond Road 

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person was feeling faint. Officer reported that the person declined medical attention. Sergeant Bryan Verzosa responded.

SUMMARY: Person reported feeling faint. Officer reported that the person declined medical attention. Sergeant Bryan Verzosa responded. 

 

Accidental fire alarm

SUMMARY: Simplex reported a fire alarm. Officer reported that the alarm activation was caused by burnt food. Sergeant Bryan Verzosa responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported person with a high fever and body aches. Officer reported the person was transported to a hospital by ambulance. Sergeant Bryan Verzosa responded.

 

September 13 

 

Medical Assist/ Injury 

LOCATION: Campus Center 

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person slipped on a wet floor, fell and injured their head. Prior to an officer’s arrival, the person went to the Hammond Health Center for medical assistance. Sergeant Don Lyke responded.

 

Medical Assist/ Psychological  

LOCATION: Hood Hall 282 Lyceum Drive 

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person was having suicidal thoughts. The person was taken into custody under New York state’s Mental Hygiene law and was transported the hospital by ambulance. Patrol Officer Kevin McClain responded.

LOCATION: Terrace 7 106 Flora Brown Drive 

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person has not been in contact with them for several days. Officer determined the person did not need assistance and they would contact the caller. Sergeant Bryan Verzosa responded.

LOCATION: Academic Quad/ 100–300 Block Textor Circle 

SUMMARY: Caller reported that while walking they stepped on a crack in pavement and injured an ankle Sept. 13. The person sought medical assistance on their own. Patrol Officer Kevin McClain responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person passed out and another person performed CPR. The person was transported to a hospital by ambulance. Patrol Officer Kevin McClain responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a two-car property damage motor vehicle accident. Patrol Officer Kevin McClain responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported people on a roof. Officer gave a warning to four people for being on the roof. Patrol Officer Kevin McClain responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person with severe pain in the lower abdomen with pain radiating to lower back. The person was reportedly transported to the hospital by a private vehicle. Sergeant Jon Elmore responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person vomiting. The person declined medical assistance. Charlie Sherman, fire and building safety coordinator in the Department of Environmental Health and Safety, responded

SUMMARY: Caller reported an unknown person entered their room and stole clothing and jewelry. Sergeant Bryan Verzosa responded.

SUMMARY: The department of Environmental Health and Safety reported an unknown person stole the faceplate of an exit sign. Sergeant Don Lyke responded.

 

V&T aggravated unlicensed operation 

LOCATION: Conservatory Drive

SUMMARY: Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign. Officer reported the driver was issued a ticket for aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree. Patrol Officer Abdullah Hassan responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person fell off of a skateboard and possibly broke their wrist. Officer reported that the person declined medical assistance. George Whitmore, fire protection specialist in the Department of Environmental Health and Safety responded.

LOCATION: 171 College Circle

SUMMARY: Caller reported an intoxicated person. Officer reported the person declined medical assistance and the person was referred to the Office of Student Conduct for irresponsible use of alcohol. Security Officer RJ Petrella responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported an intoxicated person. Officer reported the person was taken into custody under New York state’s Mental Hygiene law and transported to the hospital by ambulance. Officer referred the person to the Office of Student Conduct for irresponsible use of alcohol. Patrol Officer Abdullah Hassan responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported an intoxicated person who was making alarming statements of self-harm. Officer reported the person was taken into custody under New York state’s Mental Hygiene law and transported to a hospital by ambulance. Sergeant Don Lyke responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a known person had touched the caller’s intimate parts without consent Sept. 16. Master Patrol Officer Sophia Dimkos responded.

Assist Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office 

LOCATION: State Route 96B/ Danby Road

SUMMARY: Tompkins County dispatch requested an officer check on a reported large item in the roadway. Officer reported a large plastic tarp found in the roadway was removed. Master Patrol Officer Sophia Dimkos responded.

LOCATION: Holmes Hall/ 288 Lyceum Drive

SUMMARY: Caller reported an intoxicated person. Officer reported a non-affiliated person was transported to the hospital by ambulance and another person was referred to the Office of Student Conduct for the responsibility of guests. Master Patrol Officer Sophia Dimkos responded.
