Robbery reported outside Ithaca College residence hall

November 11, 2014

The Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management responded to reports of a robbery that happened at 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 10 outside of Terrace 12. The report claimed the complainant was assaulted and robbed of cash by two males.

One suspect, described as a white male with a scruffy beard and dirty blond or brown hair and is approximately six-feet tall and weighs about 220 pounds, was seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and dark colored jeans.

The other suspect has been described as a white, clean-shaven male with dirty blond or brown hair and is approximately six-feet tall and weighs 180 pounds. He was seen wearing dark colored jeans and a blue t-shirt.

The victim, not affiliated with Ithaca College, did not seek any medical attention.

Anyone with more information regarding the incident should call the Office of Public Safety at 607-274-3333 or leave an anonymous voice mail message at 607-274-1060.

The college worked with Rankin Climate, a company that assesses institutional climate and specifically works with the college’s working committee, to compile the results of the survey.  The survey was made up of 117 questions, 16 of which were open-ended. Questions from the 2016 Campus Climate Survey were used as a basis and reviewed again by the college.
