Q&A: Alum promotes ongoing sustainability efforts in sports

Since his time on South Hill, Brian McCullough ’06, has entrenched himself in the intersection of sustainability and sports. Currently an associate professor and program chair of sport management at the University of Michigan, McCullough has worked with other experts in the field and organizations such as the International Olympic Committee.
Jennifer Metzgar, director of Student Health Services at the college, said the Hammond Health Center has treated fewer than five student cases of hand, foot and mouth disease this semester.
Eight Ithaca College students contract hand, foot and mouth disease

Eight Ithaca College students have reported contracting hand, foot and mouth disease to The Ithacan while on campus in September. HFMD, a disease caused by coxsackievirus or enterovirus, is a disease that is common in young children but can impact all ages.

An artificial intelligence data center may find a home on the bank of Cayuga Lake in the next two years, despite concerns about the proposed center’s environmental impact and the chance of a one-year pause on construction in Lansing.
