The Ithaca College Student Governance Council met Sept. 15 to speak to Reginald Briggs — senior director of dining services — about issues with food services on campus. Notable changes include the limited meal swipe exchange hours at Towers Eatery, removal of both the paninis at the Dailies Cafe and build-your-own subs at Eleven Wall Cafe.

The Ithaca College Student Governance Council held platform presentations Sept. 15 in the Klingenstein Lounge on the second floor of the Campus Center for candidates running in the Fall 2025 election. Candidates are able to campaign from 9 a.m. Sept. 16 to 4:59 p.m. Sept 19.

IC students protest against crisis pregnancy centers with End Abortion Stigma

About 15 Ithaca College students and members of End Abortion Stigma held signs on the street corner in favor of the right to an abortion as the sound of passing car horns filled the street in support. 
The award recognizes Yeo for his leadership in creating a more sustainable future. Tunku Mohamed Alauddin Tunku Naquiyuddin, a Negeri Sembilan royal, presented the award to Yeo.

Senior Ye Hang Yeo — a documentary studies and production, and world languages and cultures double major — won the Influential Leader/CEO in Sustainability Award at the Asia Pacific CEO Sustainability Awards in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in Summer 2025.

A former Ithaca College student, Jonathan D’Agostino, was declared missing by the New York State Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation Department Sept. 10. Video footage showed him leaving the IC campus around 6:30 a.m. Sept. 7, according to the missing person release. An IC spokesperson told Syracuse.com he last attended IC in Fall 2023.

Changes to meal exchange program cause confusion

Changes to Ithaca College’s meal exchange program from the 2024-25 academic year to the 2025-26 academic year have surprised students and student employees. Many students are confused about what meal exchange options are currently available and what each cafe serves.

Men’s soccer keep streak alive with 1-0 fight against King’s College

The Ithaca College men’s soccer team edged out the King’s College Monarchs Sept. 13 in a heated 1-0 contest. The matchup saw five yellow cards and plenty of physicality from start to finish. The Bombers have now won five consecutive games to open their season, a feat that has not been achieved by the program since 2007.
