The Ithaca women’s varsity 8 took second place in its heat and the second varsity 8 placed sixth in its opening race in the NCAA Championships this weekend at Lake Natoma in Gold River, Calif. In yesterday’s races, the varsity 8 placed fourth in the grand final and the second women’s varsity 8 earned a fifth place finish in the petite final.
