Athletes on the women’s indoor track team who were not eligible to compete in the Empire 8 Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships participated in the Cortland Winter Invitational yesterday afternoon. The Bombers had three individuals and one relay team place in the top five.
Freshmen Marissa Ericson and Kassie Moore placed fourth and fifth respectively in the 60-meter hurdles with times of 10.81 and 11.01. Freshman Angelica Pizzi placed fifth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:37.84.
The Bombers’ 4×400-meter relay team finished fourth with a time of 4:40:91.
