Ithaca College swim teams maximize performance through tapering

The men's and women's swimming and diving team uses taper, a technique that involves reducing yardage and practice time, to prepare for big meets.
Junior Brenna Dowd swims the mile at the Upper New York State Collegiate Swimming Association Championship Feb. 20. Dowd finished in third place when she touched the wall at 17:45.84, the second fastest time ever record by a Bomber in the event.

Swimming and diving squads contend in UNYSCSA Championship

The men's and women's swimming and diving teams swam in the New York State Collegiate Swimming Association Championship Feb. 17 to Feb. 20. The women's team took first place while the men's team finished in fourth place.

Weekly Recap: Swimming and diving sweeps meet against Saxons

The men's and women's swimming and diving squads triumphed over Alfred University this past week. Both teams pushed their overall records to 7–3 and 10–3, respectively.
Seven swimmers compete in the Bomber Invitational on Dec. 5 at the Athletics and Events Center. The mens swimming and diving team placed seventh out of 11 teams overall.
