The Hidden Opponent hosts home run derby fundraiser

The Ithaca College softball team might not be in action until Spring 2023, but it is already getting some practice in — and letting members of the campus community take some swings, too.
The women’s lacrosse team raised money for suicide prevention and Alzheimers awareness Sept. 10. The team split into two groups to be able to attend both of the walks, which were at the same time.

As sophomore defender Kaitlyn Russell, a member of the Ithaca College women’s lacrosse team, walked around Myers Park in Lansing, New York, she started to tear up.
Michele Lee ’13 and her mother, Cathy Lee, hosted a fundraiser Feb. 20 at the Dryden Hotel, which they called “Miles for Michele,” to raise money toward Lee’s goal of $10,000 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Ithaca alumna runs Boston Marathon for suicide prevention
