IC talks all things film with pre-FLEFF events

Park welcomes alum to speak with students

The Ithaca College Roy H. Park School of Communications welcomed Mark Gross ’88 on Oct. 25 and 26 to speak in classes and participate in an open Q&A.

Starting in Spring 2022, senior Surina Belk-Gupta, a cinema and photography major, created a way for non-male filmmakers at IC to connect.
Amy Falkner has been appointed as the new dean of Ithaca College’s Roy H. Park School of Communications and will succeed Jack Powers, professor in the Department of Media Arts, Sciences, and Studies, who has been serving as interim dean of the Park School since 2020.

Ithaca College announces new dean of the Park School

Amy Falkner has been appointed as the new dean of Ithaca College’s Roy H. Park School of Communications and will begin her new position at the college Aug. 1, 2022.
The additional recommendations include: Create a streamlined undergraduate application process, increase flexibility of the curriculum, make the faculty workload more equitable, revise and implement the course schedule, establish centralized management of graduate programs and reevaluate course caps.
