Track and field teams celebrate inaugural home meet with season bests

With the sun in the sky and fans in the stands April 21, the Ithaca College men's and women's track teams hosted their first home meet in a decade on the newly built Egan Family Track and Field Complex. The Bombers welcomed Syracuse University, Cornell University, SUNY Cortland, SUNY Oswego, Keystone College and the Rochester Institute of Technology as they set some season highs both on the track and on throws.  
First-year athlete Quinten Lewis takes his approach in the triple jump. Lewis said the jumping aspect of the event helps him be explosive and powerful in football.

IC athletes split time between the gridiron and the track

After the thrilling 2025 Cortaca victory Nov. 15, most football players entered the offseason ready to rest, recover and regroup. But six athletes had 20 days to gear up for another competition in an entirely different sport: track and field.
