Review: Musical “Trolls World Tour” lacks compelling plot
Unfortunately, “Trolls World Tour” does not live up to the excitement that 2016’s “Trolls” brought.
Unfortunately, “Trolls World Tour” does not live up to the excitement that 2016’s “Trolls” brought.
While it got off to a slow start, the ending of “A Simple Favor” made the first hour and a half of the movie worth watching.
Despite attempts to stand out from, but stay true to, its predecessor, “Pitch Perfect 2” gets lost in its oversaturated plotline and fails to live up to the success of the original.
Echoing cross-genre films such as Adam Sandler’s “Click” and “Funny People,” which borders the line between comedy and drama, director Jonathan Levine’s new dark comedy “50/50” is a creative and effective mix of tragedy and humor.
