Originally penned as a novella in 18th-century France, “Candide” has stood the test of time again and again. Now, the theatrical version will be performed in Ithaca with Ithaca College students, alumni and staff at center stage.

Professor writes novel about Sicilian history

Anthony DiRenzo, associate professor of writing, recently published an historical novel called “Trinacria: A Tale of Bourbon Sicily,” which read excerpts from at 7 p.m. Feb. 11 in Klingenstein Lounge in the Campus Center.
